The annual Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) Scholarship Program
supports students working toward long-term career goals in planning or public service.
The program provides a $4,000 scholarship for up to eleven high school or community
college students from the SCAG region interested in pursuing planning or public service‐
related careers, two scholarship awards are supported by the California Transportation
Foundation. Recipients may also have an opportunity to meet with their local
government representatives and practicing planners to discuss the importance of urban
planning and a future career in public service

The 2024 Ellevation Scholarship is now open!

Ellevation will be awarding ten $2,000 scholarships to deserving EL high school seniors who are continuing on to higher education. Since we began our scholarship program in 2018, we have supported dozens of students across the country as they continue their education journey with direct scholarships to the student account of their college or university of choice. This year, the scholarship funds awarded will be able to be used beyond the cost of tuition to assist students in addressing a number of additional financial stressors that arise in the transition to higher education.
