FAFSA/Dream Act
The FAFSA is the Federal Application for Federal Student Aid. All Seniors are required to complete this application. Applications for the 2026-27 school year are available now and need to be submitted by March 2, 2026 to obtain a Cal-grant, but are not due until June 1st if attending a community college.
1. You and your parent(s)/guardian(s) will need to create an FSA ID. This counts as your electronic signature to process your FAFSA. This website provides more information about the FSA ID and how to complete it.
2. You will need your social security number and your parent will need their tax returns.
If you don't have a social security number, this will make you eligible for filing the California Dream Act.
