Absent Packet: When absent please complete one assignment for each day you are gone. Turn in to me for credit. You will need your MASL Textbook and DVD.

Project One: Deaf People & Sports

You will research Deaf People & Sports; create a 6-10 slide PowerPoint; prepare to present in ASL your responses to the following questions. One question per slideJ Add pictures, video clips (2-4min)…

  • Deaf Athletes: Who, what sport, & the impact they had on today’s sports: A couple examples are below

  • What surprised you most about your athlete and/or the impact they had?

The Goal of this project: For you to recognize the impact deaf people have had on sports over the years. Such as the football huddle and baseball signals used today.
