Grades/Rest of the year update...

Hello all my beautiful people. I still miss you so much. I went to school today and picked up all your work and updated the grades. I wanted to update you on what you need to do going forward from today. Here is how it works:

IF you are good with your grade in my class, you don't need to do anything. That is the grade you will get. IF you want your grade to be higher, then you need to either complete makeup work, do some work on the district portal, or contact me and I can give you work to complete. Once you complete the work, you can send it to me through email or you can take pictures and send them through remind. YOU HAVE 8 WEEKS TO RAISE YOUR GRADE.

I WILL BE AVAILABLE Monday-Friday FROM 10am-3pm to answer any of your questions or to help you with anything you need. Even if you just want to chat, I'm here for you.

Hi!!!!

I hope you are all doing well and doing your part to slow this virus. Many of you have reached out to me wondering about the rest of the year. I do not have any answers beyond what the district has told the community. There is an online portal available for you, and as of right now, that's all there is. HOWEVER, I would STRONGLY encourage those of you who were failing the class or were not earning the grade you wanted to MAKE UP YOUR MISSING WORK. I am going to REPOST the MAJOR ASSIGNMENTS beginning TOMORROW, so please look for that. I will also be communicating directly with those of you who need to make up a lot of work. BUT I'd like to remind you that as of right now, it's all still on the website, so you don't have to wait for me.

On a personal note, this is scary and unprecedented in our lifetimes, but I KNOW WE CAN DO THIS. Stay home unless absolutely necessary. Wash your hands. Practice social distancing. I know this is hard you guys; I haven't been able to hug my parents or my grandmother (or anyone else for that matter), but you have to see the bigger picture. The more we stay home, the faster this is over. One of the most important things is to PLEASE seek out CREDIBLE information. I see a lot of misinformation being spread out there. Slow down, relax, breathe, learn how to sew, change oil, play an instrument, FaceTime, FaceTime, FaceTime, LOL. I MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH. I never thought I'd be happy that I brought grading home, but I am. It reminds me of you, and brings great memories to my mind.

I will posting specifics to your class starting tomorrow. I will send a remind message out each time I do to alert you that there is make up work available. Reach out to me any time through Remind. I AM HERE FOR YOU! You are not being abandoned by your teachers; we are just waiting for direction from the district, which will happen after April 3.
