Welcome to the Social Science Department! We offer several courses at the college preparatory, Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate levels. World History, United States History and Government & Economics are graduation requirements that students will take beginning their sophomore year. Our courses also fulfill the "A" A-G requirement for the Cal State and UC system. In addition to our core courses, we offer several electives including Psychology (AP & CP), AP Human Geography, and Political Issues & Society, which qualify as A-G electives. Additionally, we have a staff that is involved in all different aspects of campus including Athletics, Health & Medical Careers Academy, AVID, Leadership, Debate Team, and more.
