Honors Human Anatomy and Physiology is a demanding laboratory elective designed to promote understanding of the structure and function of the human body and its response to environmental stimuli.  This course expands upon the biological principles covered in Biology and Chemistry, and is especially programmed for those who intend to pursue careers in the rapidly expanding medical and health care related fields. Emphasis will be placed on the application of medical terminology and technology through real world clinical case studies.   Dissections, biochemical and biophysical laboratory exercises will offer hands on practice needed to develop the foundational skills  necessary  to perform in the health care field.
