HOW DO WE APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
Mrs. Ward in the career center is the person to see for scholarship applications. She publishes a scholarship bulletin each month with due dates and application requirements. Each bullletin can be picked up in the career center and will be posted on this page to the right. She will remind you as due dates approach and will show you examples of applications. Many scholarships are available to both Juniors and Seniors so be sure to keep checking in with her.
Tips for a good Scholarship Application:
1) Academic Record- be sure to get the highest grades possible so you are competitive with your peers. Always take the most rigorous courses to demonstrate your commitment to your education.
2) Community Service- keep your community service hours up to date and turn in your forms to your counselor. It is important that you have them documentedBEFORE you begin fililng out scholarship applications.
3) Deadlines- don't miss a deadline!! Turn things in on EARLY and be sure to complete every part of your application.
