This class is designed to introduce students to fine art and meets the fine art requirement for graduation and the “F” requirement for admission into the UC and CSU systems. It is intended to provide students with an understanding of visual design and a deeper appreciation of art and culture. Students will build a portfolio (a collection of an artist’s best work) consisting of six quality works of art. This portfolio is a requirement for Advanced Drawing and Painting and is encouraged for college entry. More information may be found on the class website at: http://art1.jrieger.com
